A Vision of Dreaming
So, it is almost 1:00 AM and by the time I am done writing this blog it will probably be time to let me depart for the night. I just wanted to present my views on something different. I have been out tonight, and in a long time I have realized that I need to dream bigger and brighter. When I walk down the streets of West Covina or even in a completely different city or country, I see individual faces that tell a story. They all have their own personal tale to tell. They have their dreams, aspirations, hurts, dissappointments, experiences all bottled down deep into their hearts. Some have others to rely on, some do not. A homeless man is no different than a wealthy, lush, business man rushing down the street to meet his cilent at a coffee shop. The business man has a dream for more simplicity and the homeless man has a dream to be the other people that pass him on the sidewalk pretending to ignore him.
What are our dreams? Who instills these dreams within us? Those are some of the questions I pondered today that I would like to consider. Dreaming takes energy and time to think. What do you want your dreams to be like and do you think they will be the right dreams for you? I guess you won't know until they finally come true. That is possibly the most intoxicating idea about it. You can be ANYTHING you want in your dreams. But the important thing to recognize they will come true, but maybe not the way you expected.
Some dream of the glitz and glammer of hollywood, or some dream about just finding the perfect soulmate. Your dream of being a celebrity may land you in a small extra in a movie or it may take you years of a hurt and tortured spirit to find that special someone. These days, we most definately thrive upon perfection. We need to realize that your job in a big movie studio may not be the most famous or industrialized project or that your love may have flaws that you will have to learn to live with. In the end, we need to understand the humble and unpretentious human at it's heightened. You cannot avoid or deny it. The time has come when you have to decide what you want, perfection or shortcomings at it's desired.
Some dreams are never yours. Maybe they could be someone else's. To dream a person you want to be is a waste of the person you are. Make your own dreams and decide for yourself what you think is right for you. I do not want to sugar coat anything. It will be a rough and bumpy ride and you may think it is unfinished. For those who dream, life is not easy. But rest a sure, it will definately be worth it. Think and get in touch with your inner being if you haven't already. I try everyday and I am still trying to figure it out. Read, write, enjoy life to it's fullest. I know you hear this phrase ringing in your head constantly. But I am sad to say this my friend, it is the honest truth. Trust yourself to test your limits. That is courage and risk-taking enjoyed. Dream wisely but BIG. Your dream is waiting for you.
"Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world." -Harriet Tubman

Those Are The Words You "Told" Me
What has been going on lately? Lies, artifice, promises broken into pieces. People are not aware of the promises they make to others. How ignorant can they be? Hypocrite is the best way I can describe this attitude. Why even waste your time waiting and wondering about the future of this relationship, if from the beginning the hole has already been dug and it is already hard to get out of. Trust is a scared commodity that everyone must have and give off.
Life gives us chances, many ones in matter of fact. But what's the point if you don't take advantage of them and cherish them? USE THEM WISELY. You may not be given another one in someone else's book. You promise one thing and you do another, which makes you the epitome of the word HYPOCRITE. By defintion a hypocrite is (a noun obviously) a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess. What does this show, what does it exemplify? It exemplifies that you are complete, utter imbecile! You may not ever been given this wonderful chance with that person again. There is no point of tricking or belittling. Life becomes a wasteland that continues on forever. REALIZE YOUR ACTIONS. Be aware that you need change, "know what you want," be a role model for others to follow. Whatever you condem, you have done it to yourself.
Treachery and betrayl of faith is common for every man to experience, it is inevitable. Either you are the victim or the villain. Villainy is entertaining and exhilarating at times, but in reality it breaks people in the end. Whatever they do, they will realize it is not even worth anything. The person becomes worthless and feels lower than dirt. There is that room for change and chance. That person always has that chance to become what they have strived for their whole entire life. But if one constantly mantains a pattern of treachery, they will fail in the end. Breathe and realize, your actions affect others. Your words, your thoughts, your EVERYTHING affects the people that care about you. Always remember that you will come home in the end.
Be considerate and loving. Anyday, any moment you could be swept off the face of the earth. Don't be revengeful. Trust me, the person who has done wrong to you will receive their punishment and very gracefully. Be pacient and wait for the return of your life. You may think you are far away, but you are actually very close to you destination. Look at the sunrise and also the sunset. They will help you in your pilgrimage to understanding and believing.
To end this explantion on hypocrisy, I leave you with a man of a most ingenious nature. I hope this entry reaches those who need to hear it, paticular people out there that I have had my mind on throughout this whole span as I was writing this presumption.

Experiences Transfered Into Hope
Today was an unusual experience, as it always is within the cage of my strict family rules. People were blamed and bashed for actions which were not there's and were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Sexism is a cruel tool parents use against their daughters, I must say. Women should have as much as a right to have freedom as men do. We are seen as an "inferior" sex who supposedly do not "understand" anything in my culture. We are underestimated. We know in our hearts that we are more than that. This is a false accusation and should be dealt with a more detailed outlook. Biased are the rules and regulations of this culture and need to be changed.
A new generation has emerged in the midst of this new world. Our opportunities and experiences are divergent and girls my age should be taken more seriously. The idea that satisfies me is, at some areas in my life, I am allowed to be whoever I want to be and is seen as a deep individual. Challenges are presented and no special treatement is utilized. Independence is encouraged and success through independence is seen through the students at this school. My tangible wishes of freedom in a household of so much restriction are desired. Running away has been considered an option, but life is too long for one to survive on one's own. Loved ones are nesessary in the development of a human being. But some liberation is needed to be yourself. One waits for the chance to be able to be set free like an untouchable bird. Waiting, waiting, and waiting for that breath of fresh air.
The day will come when one will be set free and the world will be in their hands. I can't resist the day. Just wait and see. The universe conspires your dreams to happen and become a reality. This belief has made me wait and apperciate the day even more when it comes. Anticipation is the key and gives me hope to proceed on. Days come when suffocation takes ahold, but I am not one to complain for when our economic system is in a financial crisis, when children are starving around the globe, when citizens are persecuted for their beliefs and have no voice, when persons are facing bigger dilemmas then just petty family problems, and the list goes on and on.
Still, I appreicate all that family does for the growth of the individual. They contribute to a significant part of the mind and soul. It's nice not to be so alone. I hold onto the secrets though, the secrets of people and my life. That is all I have and will keep for myself because it ignites the being of my spirit. I need time for myself and just scream for relief, for relaxtion. Ideas, worries, insecurity, dissappointment run through my mind every single day. Sometimes, one doesn't know where to turn too. I am not trying to be "emo" or whatever kids call it these days, but I am just stating the facts of what realistic life is like. I can be refered to as an anti-transcendentalist but also the opposite. This is what confuses me of my reasoning. Pessimistic or optimistic? Cynical or dreamy? The path will only be clear of fog in the future.
To terminate this thought, I am left with uncertainity and a nonharmonious being. The answers will be revealed to me thorugh the transformation of one event to the next. Just remember to keep hope for the day of freedom to come.
"I have learned two lessons in my life: first, there are no sufficient literary, psychological, or historical answers to human tragedy, only moral ones. Second, just as despair can come to one another only from other human beings, hope, too, can be given to one only by other human beings."

First Blog of the 21st Century
I have just been enlightened, and what a wonderful feeling it is, that blogging is an art, an act of persuasion. The blogger or bloggie attempts to suceed in making the reader grasp what they are feeling as they type their conscience (or maybe not conscience) thoughts on a screen. Blogging in it's natural terms is just a way people can "vent" or can also be used as an way to share their soul with someone else. It can also be utilized as to inform our soceity of corrupt ways or can be a way of expression. Basically, I see it as a chance to say what you want, whenever you want to. At 2:00 AM in the morning or even after you return from a year long trip around the world.
If you think about it, you have the freedom of speech in America that our forefathers started on this very turf we now live on. The 1st amendment guareentees us so many rights such as freedom of religion, press, and speech, just to name a few, which I think more people should take advantage of nowadays. In most countries, people are not granted a democratic government and life can become a dictatorship or even a tyranny. As David Ben-Gurion once said, "The test of democracy is freedom of criticism." With criticism, we have the opportunity to examine and take notice of our actions and how we treate our fellow humans.
Life has our advantages and disadvantages, it has out freedoms and our bondages. We just have to find the trick or key to unlock things that we do not understand in life. An advantage can simply just be being more talented or have a higher IQ as someone else. Or maybe also you can be a gifted sports player. Also it can be on emotional terms like being able to deal with problems differently or setting high goals and standards for yourself. So as my first blog, I want to emphasize mainly on not being afraid or shunned down on sharing my opinions and beliefs on important topics, whatever they may be: nature, music, politics, philosophy, etc. I am just a sixteen year old just like you trying to figure out this "so-called" life like many of teens today.
Personally, this not only lets me write whatever I want, this is also a chance to convey my thoughts and analyze my life. SO to finish this post, I hope you enjoy and share this experience as a means of reason and learning and not just "gossip vomit." But I will contradict myself here when I can be a victim of that as well.
Here endeth the lesson and I will see you next time. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end. Motivation is what got me started, and now habit will keep me going. From the start of this will hopefully come great things. Now I leave you to think as you go about your day or slumber into a silence of dreams.
