First Blog of the 21st Century

I have just been enlightened, and what a wonderful feeling it is, that blogging is an art, an act of persuasion. The blogger or bloggie attempts to suceed in making the reader grasp what they are feeling as they type their conscience (or maybe not conscience) thoughts on a screen. Blogging in it's natural terms is just a way people can "vent" or can also be used as an way to share their soul with someone else. It can also be utilized as to inform our soceity of corrupt ways or can be a way of expression. Basically, I see it as a chance to say what you want, whenever you want to. At 2:00 AM in the morning or even after you return from a year long trip around the world.

If you think about it, you have the freedom of speech in America that our forefathers started on this very turf we now live on. The 1st amendment guareentees us so many rights such as freedom of religion, press, and speech, just to name a few, which I think more people should take advantage of nowadays. In most countries, people are not granted a democratic government and life can become a dictatorship or even a tyranny. As David Ben-Gurion once said, "The test of democracy is freedom of criticism." With criticism, we have the opportunity to examine and take notice of our actions and how we treate our fellow humans.

Life has our advantages and disadvantages, it has out freedoms and our bondages. We just have to find the trick or key to unlock things that we do not understand in life. An advantage can simply just be being more talented or have a higher IQ as someone else. Or maybe also you can be a gifted sports player. Also it can be on emotional terms like being able to deal with problems differently or setting high goals and standards for yourself. So as my first blog, I want to emphasize mainly on not being afraid or shunned down on sharing my opinions and beliefs on important topics, whatever they may be: nature, music, politics, philosophy, etc. I am just a sixteen year old just like you trying to figure out this "so-called" life like many of teens today.

Personally, this not only lets me write whatever I want, this is also a chance to convey my thoughts and analyze my life. SO to finish this post, I hope you enjoy and share this experience as a means of reason and learning and not just "gossip vomit." But I will contradict myself here when I can be a victim of that as well.

Here endeth the lesson and I will see you next time. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end. Motivation is what got me started, and now habit will keep me going. From the start of this will hopefully come great things. Now I leave you to think as you go about your day or slumber into a silence of dreams.
